Good day, Love, from Ottawa, Canada We have been home from St. Maarten/St. Martin for a week now and every day I reflect on our time with you in your store. I feel it’s a story to share yet it is beyond my verbal skills to communicate exactly how I felt, how you made me feel, to make people understand the magic of you, Love. You left an indelible mark on my soul. Time spent with friends or loved ones, or even strangers, are now events to celebrate with introspection, not taken for granted. You welcomed us into your store, the home of your passion, your familial history. We received an education on timepieces, on pride of quality, design and manufacture. You welcomed us to your table sharing libation the island way and even the entrance of old, valued clients didn’t distract you from your time spent with us. I believe too often we tend to discard one person in favor for another, whatever the reason, instead of treating each as unique and special in their own right and worthy of your time. I shared the story of your wristwatch that day, the 1921 classic. My friend had seen it on a TV show, Antiques Roadshow, which allowed us to compare notes. They matched! Good morning Love, I and the family are safely back in the United States after a wonderful visit in Sint Maarten. I do regret not getting to see you while there, but our telephone conversation let me know you are well and as vigorous as ever making Jewels by Love the perfect place for lovers of fine timepieces. Bob took such wonderful care and attention with Jeanine and her decision with Nomos. He was so thoughtful and detailed in all his explanations…at least the ones I observed as I wanted the experience to be almost exclusively Jeanine’s. As they engaged over the watch I took in the beauty of the new store and admired several timepieces myself. Everyone in the store was simply wonderful and gracious as I meandered. I also tried several watches myself in the line Jeanine chose. This line is extraordinary in its potential as an up and comer that will impact the industry. I expect you are doing very well with it. Jeanine’s decision on the timepiece and bands is an excellent one. She is very taken with it and I’m certain she will wear it with pride of ownership and fond memories for years to come. I can’t thank you and Bob enough for that. Continue to do well my friend.
